These are great overboots that are inconspicuous. They have saved several pair of shoes during storms yearround.

Recently, I was caught in a deluge of rain that flooded the subways, as well as the subway platforms and stairs. I was the only one in a crowd who was able to leave the subway - and walk seven blocks to my apartment. Last year, I was able to walk several blocks after a major blizzard to get groceries.
